- Four New York City designers of fashion and jewelry joined forces to open TRUNK in Oct 2009, an exciting fusion boutique and exhibit space in DUMBO, Brooklyn’s trendy fashion enclave. The collections at TRUNK feature unique women’s wear, jewelry, accessories, art and furniture, all locally designed and manufactured. The store itself provides a backdrop for the products, making a bold statement that “style can be created and found locally.” Through their partnership at TRUNK, independent designers Aimee Grubel, Ilse Eriksson, Natasha Samoylenko and Radka Osickova bridge many aesthetics and backgrounds, from Europe and rural America to New York City. TRUNK provides an exciting platform for their varied creations, as well as for the work of invited designers and exhibitors.
