Lauren “Lola” Falkowski created the Lolafalk brand based on a love of bright colors, shiny fabrics, and the insatiable need to always have an accessory, outfit or hairstyle that set her apart from the crowd.  A self-taught handbag designer working out of her studio based in Brooklyn, NY, Lola got her “start” nearly four years ago by learning to make simple tote bags from online tutorials and taking the occasional sewing workshop.
The Lolafalk design aesthetic is characterized by eclectic pattern combinations, a gravitation towards design elements that are slightly off the beaten path, and a constant seeking of the irregular and unordinary in design, form, and fashion.  All Lolafalk handbags and accessories are cut and sewn by Lola herself, and every last detail is accounted for – from the carefully crafted design of each item, to the color and fabric selection, to ensuring the overall attitude and style of the brand is reflected in each item that she creates.
