Radka Osickova brought her experience of traditional sewing, crochet and knitting with her to college where she earned a degree in fashion design. During her last semester, she took a jewelry class where she discovered the similarities between thread and fine sterling wire. It was there that she first applied her knowledge of traditional craft to her studies of textile design and Radka Design came to life. Radka makes each piece in her Brooklyn studio by hand, hook and hammer.
